Favorite thing about CX roles?

My favorite thing about the CX world is the people. I’ve always found a lot of joy and fulfillment helping others. That’s one of the reasons I enjoyed teaching and education so much. When I discovered the CX world back in 2013, I found a whole world of people who were similar to me—passionate about helping and serving others

Biggest learning in my career.

The biggest learning in my career is that it doesn’t have to be a career. Growing up, people always ask kids what they want to be when they grow up, and they answer with one thing—an astronaut, a nurse, a filmmaker, and for me, a teacher. But what I’ve learned is that you don’t have to grow up and do just one thing. You can embrace many different careers and many different jobs if you want. So now I ask kids—what are all the things you want to do when you grow up

Proudest moment of my career.

The proudest moment of my career—I don’t know if there’s a moment that I can pinpoint. If anything, I’m most proud of seeing people that I’ve hired and mentored succeed. It’s a tremendous joy to watch someone grow into themselves in their career. They are the ones that have to do all the hard work to succeed, and I feel lucky to be a part of that journey

Ambitions for the future.

I want to help Flight grow into the best agency for customer experience. When people think of great customer service, a company that delivers exceptional quality and a friendly community of crew members, I want them to think of Flight. Besides total domination of the CX world, I have other ambitions: competing in my first Olympic-length triathlon; raise my daughter to be kind, strong, and determined; perfect my chili crunch paste recipe and sell it as a side hustle; and travel, travel, travel
